The Ohio Supreme Court annual report features technology-focused improvements made in 2015.

Advances in delivering services through technology took center stage last year at the Ohio Supreme Court, according to the Supreme Court’s newly released annual report.

The Court launched an e-filing portal for attorneys and self-represented litigants, over the last year, refreshed the attorney services portal, and revamped two applications used to search for Court cases, opinions, and announcements. The Court also issued its first competitive technology grants to improve access to justice at local courts across the state.

Besides technology-focused improvements, the report also documented rules to protect vulnerable adults, case statistics, staff accomplishments, and a day-by-day year in review.

The Court’s work through its seven divisions and affiliated offices adheres to a vision statement of administering justice with integrity and providing leadership for the judicial branch.
