Concord Attorney Named to Lake County Probate Court
The chief assistant prosecutor in the Geauga County Prosecutor’s Office will take the probate bench in Lake County a week from today. The governor’s office announced the appointment of Mark J. Bartolotta of Concord on September 13.
Bartolotta is replacing Judge Ted Klammer, who died on March 13.
Bartolotta will have to run in the November 2014 general election to retain the seat for the full term commencing February 9, 2015. He received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Akron, earned his law degree from the Cleveland Marshall College of Law, and was admitted to the practice of law in Ohio on November 9, 1992.
Bartolotta served in the Lake County Prosecutor’s Office from 1992 until February when he took the job in Geauga County. He has also taught courses at Lake Erie College and Lakeland Community College.
