Governor Appoints Davis to Summit County Common Pleas Court

Governor John R. Kasich today appointed Hudson attorney Jane M. Davis to sit on the Summit County Common Pleas Court starting July 8.
Davis must run in the November 2014 general election to retain the seat for the remainder of the unexpired term that ends January 4, 2017.
Since 2005, Davis has worked in private practice as a self-employed attorney. She previously served as magistrate of the Stark County Common Pleas Court, and she also has practiced law in Akron, Cincinnati, and North Canton.
Davis received her bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of Cincinnati and earned her law degree from the University of Akron School of Law.
