New Overtime Rules Could Impact Ohio Court Employees

As with any other sector of the economy, the new overtime rules announced last week by the U.S. Department of Labor may affect employees working in Ohio’s court system. Ohio judges and court administrators are advised to seek counsel from their county prosecutor or city law director on the application of the increased wage threshold for overtime pay eligibility for court personnel.
