Lima Municipal Court Vacancy Filled
David A. Rodabaugh, a former Lima law director, will join Judge Tammy K. Hursh on the city’s municipal court on Feb. 18 after his appointment by Gov. John R. Kasich on Jan. 28 to fill a vacancy.
Rodabaugh must win in the November 2017 general election to retain the seat for the full six-year term as judge commencing Jan. 1, 2018. Rodabaugh will replace Judge RicKard A. Workman, who will retire Jan. 31.
Rodabaugh received his bachelor’s degree from Wittenberg University and law degree from Ohio Northern University. He served 12 years as law director and has practiced law in Lima, Bluffton, and Allen County for more than 35 years. He was admitted to the practice of law in Ohio on Nov. 4, 1977.
He is a member of the Ohio State and Allen County bar associations.
