The Ohio Judicial Conference has canceled its annual court technology meeting due to the coronavirus.
The Ohio Judicial Conference’s annual technology meeting scheduled for April 14 has been canceled due to the coronovirus crisis.
“Given the executive order from the governor, this event would assemble more people than allowed,” said Paul Pfeifer, executive director of the OJC. “In addition, we were hearing from attendees and vendors. It became quickly apparent we needed to cancel and get the word out as soon as possible.”
“We will notify all vendors and give them back their registration fees,” Pfeifer said.
The Ohio Judicial Conference has scheduled its next court technology meeting for April 7, 2021.
The annual conference brings hundreds of judges, magistrates, and court personnel to Columbus to share innovations in technology and discuss how courts can use the latest trends to administer justice more efficiently.
