Board of Professional Conduct Recommends Discipline for 12 Attorneys
The Ohio Board of Professional Conduct recently filed 14 disciplinary-case reports with the Ohio Supreme Court, including 12 reports recommending discipline for attorneys charged with professional misconduct. Two additional reports recommended the reinstatement of suspended lawyers to the practice of law.
The parties in each case will have an opportunity to file objections to the board’s report and recommendation with the Supreme Court. If objections are filed, the case will be scheduled for oral argument. No oral argument is scheduled in reinstatement proceedings and objections are not permitted in a case submitted upon consideration of a consent-to-discipline agreement.
Additional information about each case, including the report and recommendation, is linked via the case numbers listed below. Contact the Supreme Court’s Office of Public Information at 614.387.9250 for questions on pending cases.
