Board of Professional Conduct Files Disciplinary Case Reports and Recommendations
The Ohio Board of Professional Conduct today announced it has filed 10 disciplinary case reports with the Ohio Supreme Court.
- Seven reports recommend discipline for attorneys charged with professional misconduct.
- Two reports recommend discipline for a judge or former judge who violated the Code of Judicial Conduct.
- One report recommends the reinstatement of a previously suspended attorney.
The parties in each case will have an opportunity to file objections to the board’s report and recommendation with the Supreme Court. If objections are filed, the case will be scheduled for oral argument. No oral argument is scheduled in reinstatement proceedings, and objections are not permitted in a case submitted upon consideration of a consent-to-discipline agreement.
