Mini documentary series showcases Guernsey County Courthouse.
The first in a new series of mini documentaries about Ohio’s 88 county courthouses begins airing today.
Ohio Government Telecommunications is producing the videos, which will premier on the Ohio Channel, a public broadcasting station headquartered at the Ohio Statehouse.
The documentaries feature each courthouse’s unique characteristics and provide a glimpse of the courthouses’ history with photos from local historical societies and interviews with judges and chronologists.
Four courthouse videos are currently scheduled to air:
- Delaware County airing today at noon and 8 p.m.
- Guernsey County airing December 8 at noon and 8 p.m.
- Licking County airing December 15 at noon and 8 p.m.
- Highland County airing December 22 and noon and 8 p.m.
The long-term project will eventually showcase all 88 county courthouses across the state.
