The questions that appeared on the July 2015 Ohio Bar Examination have been published and are now available online.

The 12 essay questions, and the two Multistate Performance Test items prepared by the National Conference of Bar Examiners, were presented to applicants during the exam given July 28-30. The publication from the Ohio Board of Bar Examiners also includes answers that were selected from among the best graded.

By rule, the board must publish the essay questions after the announcement of exam results within a reasonable period. Hard copies are available by contacting Bar Admissions at 614.387.9340 or baradmissions@sc.ohio.gov.

Out of the 1,045 applicants who sat for the 2 1/2 day exam, 779 (75 percent) received passing scores. The next bar exam will be administered Feb. 23-25 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.

The bar exam is administered twice a year by the Ohio Supreme Court, which regulates the practice of law in Ohio, including the admission of new attorneys, the registration of current attorneys, attorney discipline in cases of misconduct, and the administration of continuing legal education.
