Court administrators seeking to advance their skills through professional development should consider applying for the Thomas J. Moyer Memorial Scholarship. Applications are due at 5 p.m. on Sept. 15.

In 2010, the Ohio Association for Court Administration (OACA) established the Moyer Memorial Scholarship to honor the memory of the late chief justice. Chief Justice Moyer was instrumental in establishing educational opportunities for OACA members and this scholarship honors his commitment to judicial staff education.

The scholarship is open to OACA members only. The recipient of this award will be presented a $1,000 scholarship for use at any court administration or judiciary-related education or professional development opportunity. The scholarship must be used during the year in which it is awarded.

Application forms are now available. The scholarship application can be completed and emailed to OACA@sc.oho.gov for consideration.
