Rachael Radel, Stephen Kahler, and Lori Keating were honored during the Ohio Supreme Court’s 11th employee professional excellence ceremony.
Three Ohio Supreme Court employees were recognized for their professionalism and outstanding service on April 14 during a ceremony in the courtroom.
The annual awards are the highest honors given to Supreme Court staff, and this year’s winners were: Stephen Kahler, records specialist in the Office of the Clerk; Lori Keating, attorney services counsel in the Office of Attorney Services; and Rachael Radel, human resources coordinator in the Office of Human Resources.
This is the 11th year the Supreme Court has presented awards to exemplary employees for distinguishing themselves the prior year in one of three categories:
- Demonstrating superior achievement in the completion of a special project or assignment
- Consistently displaying professional excellence in the performance of their regularly assigned duties
- Displaying a positive attitude toward one’s work, fellow employees, and the constituencies of the Supreme Court.
An awards committee selected the honorees after reviewing nominations submitted by internal personnel and external colleagues.
An additional 30 employees were recognized with 5-year, 10-year, 15-year, 20-year, 25-year, and 30-year service awards.
