By Stephanie Beougher | February 18, 2016
The Ohio Bar Examination will be administered next week at the Columbus Convention Center, and 495 people have applied to take the test.
The applicants are from 58 Ohio counties, 9 states, the District of Columbia, and Canada. The exam will be Feb. 23-25, and results will be announced on April 22 – before the admissions ceremony in May for successful examinees who have met all admission requirements.
The bar exam is administered in February and July by the Ohio Supreme Court, which regulates the practice of law in Ohio, including the admission of new attorneys, the biennial registration of current attorneys, attorney discipline in cases of misconduct, and the administration of continuing legal education.
