Akron Municipal Court's last day at the Stubbs Justice Center is Nov. 9.

Akron Municipal Court is on the move.

The court is heading from its current location inside the Harold K. Stubbs Justice Center to a new building a block away on S. Broadway St. As the court changes sites, operations will adjust over the next three weeks.

From Oct. 25 to Nov. 9, municipal court services will be limited. People are asked to call in advance about their case or legal matter. The court will also be closed on Friday Nov. 10 in observance of Veteran’s Day.

The municipal court will reopen at its new location with fully restored services on Monday Nov. 13. A formal open house will be scheduled at a later date.
