The next stop on the tour of Ohio county courthouses takes viewers to the southwestern corner of the state in Hamilton County.
Located in the heart of Cincinnati, the Hamilton County Courthouse is steeped in history. Despite the perils faced throughout its lineage, the sixth and current courthouse, completed in 1919, stands as a symbol of justice for Hamilton County residents. Boasting marble architecture reflective of its past, the building features intricate details, including statues and carved flowers.
Celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2019, the Hamilton County Courthouse remains an integral part of the county’s rich history and a testament to the community’s enduring commitment to justice.
