Seats of Justice: A Look at Huron County
The next stop on the Supreme Court’s tour of county courthouses takes viewers to the Huron County Courthouse. Erected in 1913, this courthouse was built on the ancient, sandy shores of Lake Erie in Norwalk.
Hear from judges, historians, and architects as they describe the grandeur of the building which boasts tall ceilings, beautiful mosaic tile floors, and stonework adorning its outer walls. The locals share the history of their small-town community with rich colonial roots dating back to the Revolutionary War.
