- Garnishment
- A court order in which a person’s money, typically wage earnings, or property is seized for the payment of a debt.
- Good faith
- An honest purpose or motive.
- Grand jury
- A group of citizens called for jury service to listen to evidence of criminal allegations presented by prosecutors to determine whether there is probable cause to believe someone has committed a crime.
- Grievance
- A complaint of ethical misconduct made against an attorney, judge, or magistrate.
- Guardian
- A person, association, or corporation that is granted authority by a probate court pursuant to R.C. Chapter 2111 to exercise parental rights over a child to the extent provided in the court’s order and subject to the residual parental rights of the child’s parents.
